New Regulations For Contractors

June 5th, 2006

There are some new up and coming changes to working regulations regarding criteria for contractors employed in a JAR 145 environment. Its part of JAR regulations and is all to do with Human Factors, which is a standard requirement for License engineers to be certified in. Well, as of the 28th Sept its also a requirement for contractor mechanics also to be certified to a certain level of Human Factor understanding. Courses are being run by FASS. See the following link for more information.

May 10th, 2006

Hi to all the readers. Been quite here of late due to my lazy ways and work comitments ???? There has been reports that Resource Group have been advertising for suitable aircraft workers from the ‘lower regions’ of our little planet….yep Australia is another target for guys to join Airbus’s expected large workforce. I have a friend who is soon to start on the project and will be getting the ‘insider line’ soon and will post here for all to read.

Airbus 380 gone in the UK?

April 9th, 2006

A strange thing for BAE Systems to do maybe ??? To sell on there share in the new Airbus 380 to EADS. Not sure why although they do report they wish to develop there Defence operations. Maybe we have to read between the lines ??? Could mean an influx of manpower onto the market though, on the contract front anyway, were Toulouse is concerned ?? Oh !!! lots of ???? Questions indeed. Any one been approached on work in the middle east recently? Could be some coming up on a large defence contract for a military sustainment program.

Airbus Information

March 31st, 2006

Yet again after a busy few weeks the jobs front in Europe has gone quite. If any one has any updates on the Airbus 380 build program at Toulouse than please e-mail me and I will pass it on via the main site. I believe there are contractors at Hamburg but it’s the main program in France that should be the ‘Biggy’.

Its all slow !!

March 25th, 2006

Well this week has been a bit slow , but….. there has been some job adverts from Qualitair. There is work in the Benelux region on 747 and work in Holland as well. Both these areas are good places to work although I have no first hand experience but this info comes from people I know who have! You may have noticed a few changes to my home page. A counter has been added and I have a ‘Add to fav’ link at the bottom. For some reason the add thingy only works with explorer so I will ask some of the web geeks for further advice !!

Hi Peoples !

March 22nd, 2006

Well this took some time to set up but easy really. I nice little add on from the host web site (midPhase). The whole deal from them is really good for the average web site user and i would recommend them to anyone. So this blog will be all about life in the aerospace industry, well my part in it anyway! It will be a slow build up, I hope, to a blog which will allow others to add there comments as well. So put the site in your favourites and check back on a regular basis. Cheers peoples!
